Louis C. Rizzo, CFP™ is a Registered Principal at LPL Financial in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with more than twenty five years of experience as a financial consultant. Lou completed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER PRACTIONER PROGRAM at the College for Financial Planning. One year later he received distinguished CFP™ marks from the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER BOARD OF STANDARDS, INC.
Prior to LPL Financial, Lou had been with Morgan Stanley working in the area of Wealth Management. In 2003 he joined LPL Financial, the nation’s largest independent broker dealer*. Almost 15 years later he has grown his business by focusing on individual client wealth management goals. Additionally, he manages business clients and their financial investment objectives. Lou hosts educational workshops on financial, retirement, and investment planning topics for corporate employees and other groups.
Lou’s financial planning approach is systematic, comprehensive and consistent with the guidelines established by the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER BOARD OF STANDARDS, INC. Once Client objectives are clear the process of creating an asset allocation may begin. Most client portfolio’s core positions are invested with money managers vetted by LPL Financial’s ongoing and rigorous due diligence process. Other areas of investment such as individual stocks, exchange traded funds, alternative investments, and insurance may be selected via third party research and utilized for overall portfolio diversification, capital preservation, and/or potential appreciation.
A thirty year resident of Pittsburgh, Lou serves a broad range of clients nationwide. At leisure, he enjoys attending cultural and culinary venues, various sports, and spending time with friends and family.
