Jan McCoy is a native of the Pittsburgh area. He attended Kiskiminetas Springs School in Saltsburg, PA and then Duquesne University Business School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining LPL, Jan he worked with many small businesses in the Pittsburgh area in advertising sales and then business development for a commercial contracting company. In 1995 Jan began his financial consultant career with LPL Financial, the nation’s largest independent broker dealer*. He is a registered representative and Investment Advisor Representative with LPL. He serves individual clients and small company retirement plans. He has attended numerous qualified retirement plan training seminars for small business retirement plans. Jan has over 20 years of experience in his investment business career.
Jan’s goal with all his clients, retirement plan participants and individuals, is to work towards their given objectives and goals, and to educate them on the specific investment plan and the path needed to fulfill their objectives.
Jan is active in his community with Pittsburgh non-profit and volunteer organizations. He is a volunteer with the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix charity. He also serves as a USSA Alpine Official and a Gate Judge for the Western PA Race Club Ski Races.
Jan enjoys his leisure time with friends, and travelling and skiing with his family. He has been married for over 20 years and is a proud father of a son and daughter.
